MARLEY MAGIC

A Place of Joy and Peaceful Power

Kirstine Keel

My name is Kirstine Keel — As a mother of five children—four of whom passed away from addiction and suicide—my life has been shaped by deep love, faith, and the strength to keep creating beauty from heartbreak. My background as an elementary teacher and mental health counselor grew from my desire to help my children and others find hope through learning and connection.

Out of this journey came my children’s book, Marley the Motmot in the Land of Trees—a story born to remind children they are seen, loved, and never alone. From Marley’s world, I’ve created playful puppets and joyful surface pattern designs that bring imagination to life through color, comfort, and creativity.

Today, my work continues through the podcast for children, Marley Magic Adventures and for adults, Every Heart Deserves Light. Through stories, art, and monthly heart-centered themes, we nurture emotional well-being and help families find light even in life’s darkest moments.

Now we are introducing our nonprofit, Marley’s Heart of Light that provides mental health education, emotional support, and healing resources for individuals and families impacted by addiction. Through education, community outreach, and compassionate guidance, we aim to offer hope, healing, and a brighter future for those suffering from addiction-related struggles.

Together, we can bring more love, learning, and light into the world—one story at a time.

Warmly,
Kirstine Keel
