IN THE LAND OF TREES
When my children were young I became a multiple subject teacher and wrote and illustrated this children’s book. After I created several playful puppets in different sizes, the story came to life as Marley traveled through the rainforest to find animal friends. After meeting frogs, parrots, butterflies, monkeys and a jaguar he discovers a special gift he’s been given to help him find purpose and joy in life. (Available through Amazon: see link below)

Quest is smart, brave, and constantly on the move, he’s driven by a thirst for discovery that leads him to every hidden corner of the rainforest. Clara is a confident and clever teenager, completely at ease in her natural surroundings.

Jim is the father figure of the frog community—warm-hearted, humorous, and always ready with a witty remark to lighten the mood. Terry is the nurturing heart of the rainforest—a loving mother figure to all the young ones. When Jim reaches out a hand to dance, Terry’s always ready spinning joyfully as her skirt twirls to the rhythm of rainforest music.
